Tankis of Aldona | Goa
Tankis of Aldona (Konkani: Udka chi Taanki) is an ongoing visual archive of the 80+ water tanks of the village of Aldona, in Goa, India.
My fascination with the tanks’ omnipresence and bold structural presence evolved into a documentation and exploration of this often-overlooked architectural feature.
The entire archive can be visited here.
Exhibited at Serendipity Arts Festival, 2024 curated by Akshay Mahajan and Lina Vincent.
